June 2nd took me to northwest Texas to play an outflow boundary from previous night's convection. Storms exploded in the extremely unstable atmosphere from Lubbock to Abilene, and many were tornado warned. The storm we chased near Roby was an HP supercell that produced tons of hail to softball size and a haboob that blinded us with tons of red Texas dirt.
