July 11th resulted in a lot more than I thought we would get. Modest CAPE and shear ended up producing a few pretty supercells, one of which anchored east of Chadron, NE.  Storms had decent structure and respectable electrification. We sat around Chadron for a big part of the afternoon until things finally started developing. Several funnel lookalikes occured that were called in as funnels/tornadoes, but of course were later discounted.

Here's a cool nearly 2 hour time lapse of the supercell:

First supercell west of Chadron, NE. Wider shot to show the decent structure.

Looked to weaken here, only to pulse up. Prettiest structure here, northwest of
Chadron, NE.

Lowering and it was rotating. CG to the side. Nice shelf from a gusting tornado warned storm northwest of Harrison, NE.
