This day brought a strong pacific system screaming across the Rockies Mountain region into Colorado. Intense winds and heavy snow blanketed the mountain areas. Winds gusting as high as 100 MPH occured over Loveland Pass, Colorado, which is where I positioned myself for the brunt of the storm. Shortly after the video was taken the Colorado Department of Transportation closed this highway.
